It may not be your tank: the problem with many system that "back up," preventing a flow of water from your sink, tub or toilet, may be your field line.
A FIELD LINE is a pipe or other structure which directs overflowing processed water from the tank and distributes it safely into the ground when it will become part of the natural water cycle. Bacteria in the tank have already reduced waste, kitchen scraps and paper products to a harmless compost.
But field lines can clog from too much fibrous waste (toilet paper is a big cause), foreign matter in the lines, or a break in the field line itself. Field lines can break when tree roots get into the system and grow, or when other forces cause the line to lose integrity. Nothing lasts forever, and older homes in our service area may have tile systems or even the old "Orangeburg pipe" that often disintegrates with age. Sometimes, lines can be repaired, sometimes they must be replaced.
B & B can replace old line with the latest technology: almost "unclogable" and boasting an extended lifetime under even the toughest conditions. We've chosen the system which we believe works best and costs least. We live in the part of the country and we often see our customers at church, while shopping or at public events. We don't want to have to apologize or make excuses when we see you, so we do it right, and do it fairly.
PLEASE NOTE: Field lines may run for 200 feet beneath your yard. In some cases, outbuildings have been constructed over the old field line. Don't worry: a solution for re-positioning the line can be found in almost every case. We have homes and lawns, too, so we work as quickly as we can with a minimum of damage to turf. We're going to dig: there is no getting around that. However, we'll do the work as if it was our own property.
